Minotaur in Flight is a sapphic blending of the myths of Icarus and the Labyrinth. This play examines the nature of fate, of monstrous femininity, and the ways that our current political climate literally and metaphorically makes puppets out of us.

Artist Bio
LUCÍA SALAZAR-DAVIDSON is a senior studying Theater and Studio Art at Augsburg University. She is a playwright, director, actor, and theater technician. Lucía grew up in the small town of Palmer, Alaska, and it is their aspiration to write plays that bring marginalized people into the spotlight. She is particularly interested in explorations of their Latine heritage and reinterpreting classic stories through a queer lens.
