Words, Music and Dance Exploring Dementia’s Love and Loss

Through stories and poetry, live music, and dance, As If You Will Remember is a multi-disciplinary live arts experience that explores love, loss, grief, and what it is to be human. The artists’ individual expressions of dementia-related losses create space to express and process grief, move emotion, and experience healing.

Artist Bio

As If You Will Remember is a collaboration of 7 Cincinnati artists: Pauletta Hansel and Gerry Grubbs are award-winning poets, having published and performed their work in regional and national venues. Rachel DesRochers is an inspirational speaker, podcaster, and event producer. Katie Chal is a choreographer and former professional ballet dancer. Rob Keenan is an award-winning musician, songwriter, and guitarist. Adam Petersen is a pianist, percussionist, and music teacher. The legendary Michael Burnham is dramaturg/director.
