FORGING LEGENDS features mischievous best friends who are held back from the long-awaited recess. To pass the time, they read books that come to life through their vivid imaginations. Inspired by legendary African-American Tall Tales, they create their own heroes who bravely battle climate change.

Artist Bio
sKribble sKratch Productions, whose mission is to create, promote, and uplift quality stories from a minority perspective, is the brainchild of Qurell–Amani. sKribble sKratch’s first major endeavor was PANTHER WOMAN. R. DeAndré Smith joined in 2021 as Associate Producer to help produce PANTHER WOMAN. The two met and became friends in 2002 while working on a show for young audiences with Theatre IV. The two are happy to return to their Theatre for Young Audiences roots with their current project FORGING LEGENDS.
