Heart Ripped Out Twice and So Can You!
A (mostly) comedy about pain.
Ever recover from open chest surgery and multiple hospitalizations only to get hit with a devastating breakup? Part clown comedy, part timeshare pitch, part pity party, part existential howl – HROTASCY! is like 127 Hours meets 500 Days of Summer performed by a sales representative in bardo.
Category: Solo Performance
Venue: Art Academy 301
Please note there is no late seating for this production.
Based on current infection rates and active cases, Cincy Fringe plans to make masking encouraged, but optional in performance spaces for audiences for the 2023 Festival.
Please note that we will re-evaluate this policy if infection rates rise significantly before or during the Festival, in the interest of keeping the festival accessible to our most vulnerable artists, patrons, and staff.
Thank you for your understanding.
Originally from Cincinnati, Linnea Bond is an actor, writer, and director whose work explores individual, communal, and global apocalypse, often centering environmental activism and eco-grief. Someone once called her “a femme Bo Burnham”, but she doesn’t play piano. “Triumphant…Witty and moving.” (Broad Street Review on HROTASCY!) “Elegant, nuanced, and well executed” (No Proscenium on New World Rising!)
