Artist Bio

A trained opera singer, Bremner has spent his career exploring theatre, song and storytelling. His solo performances have appeared at festivals across North America, Europe and Asia. His five albums explore the songs of John Cage, jazz arrangements of Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell, and the songs of Weill and Brecht. His proudest moment was Yerevan, Armenia, when Singing Into the Dark, 1933 was invited to open the Festival commemorating the Armenian Genocide’s 100th Anniversary.
