Artist Bio
Keith Shubert is an Asheville, NC based professional puppeteer and toymaker that performs, produces and emcees shows and festivals around the country. He’s won many awards, including the UNIMA Citation, (the highest honor in American puppetry) and has been funded by the Henson Foundation. His show The Wham, Bam! Puppet Slam, has been a well-loved tradition for more than ten years. Recently he’s been developing livestream shows in collaboration with video artist Jenben Media.
