DIY Foam Sword & Fight Choreography with Jonn Baca

In the first half of this workshop, participants will make their very own foam swords using simple provided materials; in the latter half of this workshop, participants will be led in the art of theatrical swordplay by Certified Teacher, Jonn Baca.

The Art of Self-Defense with Brother Reginald Stroud

A comprehensive Self Defense session against very common attack situations in the street environment.
For 45 years, Brother Reginald Stroud has been teaching a form of Martial Arts called JINEN-DO, which borrows from Tang-Soo-Do (Korean art), Tae-Kwon-Do (Korean art), JU-jit -su (Japanese art) and Wing Chun Kung-fu (Chinese art). In the 1990s, he was the head martial arts instructor at the Cincinnati Arts Consortium. His last Martial Arts School was at 1125 Walnut street in the OTR, until his business was gentrified in 2014. He currently teaches out of his home in Northside community, near his convenience store.
